Frame the shot
Use a Target to direct the camera to a composition. Set the Target's placement and framing, then preview it with its elements. Add or move a Target instead of animating every element to mimic a camera change.
Open the Target's camera controls. Choose a Move and adjust its amount. The menu uses these exact names:
| Move | Use |
|---|---|
| Still | Hold the framing. |
| Push-in | Move towards the text and brake at the end. |
| Pull-out | Start close and pull back to the framing. |
| Two-point | Move from the framing to a focus element. |
| Three-point | Move from the framing to one focus element, then another. |
| Orbit 15 | Turn around the text by 15 degrees. |
| Tilt-reveal | Start tilted and straighten to the framing. |
| Product Orbit | Make a wider turn around an element. |
| Punch on Word | Snap closer when a word lands, with a small recoil. |
| Vertigo | Use a dolly zoom: the text keeps its size while depth stretches. |
| Follow Words | Follow each word as it lands. |
Point-based moves need the relevant focus element. Three-point uses two focus points. Vertigo needs visible depth; inspect the planner's warning if the shot has none.
The camera planner can fit an amount to the available shot. Read any fitting message, then inspect the start and end of the shot. Movement duration follows the Target rather than an independent animation clip.
Choose Cut or Travel for arrival at the next Target. The shot's move is distinct from travel between Targets. Use Handheld and focus settings deliberately; check the whole shot after changing a focus element or the format.
