UI Kit

UI Kit items use the Shape editor. Choose the item first; its own sections appear in the content and motion pages. Set the screen source separately from the device's body.

Phone and Laptop

For Phone, set Orientation and Island in Device. For Laptop, set Lid °, or choose Closed, Open or Wide. The motion page provides Lid Opens for Laptop and Tilt From and Drift for screen items.

Open Screen. Choose Image or Video…, paste a source, or select a Built-in screen where offered. Use Fit and Focal Point to frame it. Use Scroll with From and To for screen travel. Set body finish and screen brightness on the look page. Clearing a screen source restores the applicable built-in fallback.

Window

Choose Style in Window. Set Title when the style supports a title. Use the same screen source and fit controls as the devices. A Window is a graphical composition, not an operating-system window.

Chart

Choose a chart item: Bars, Line Chart or Donut Chart. Use Paste Data or edit Values. Select a supported Variant and Highlight. Inspect Format for decimals, thousands and units. Use Range in the advanced Scale section when an automatic axis does not suit the comparison. Check labels after changing the numbers.

Counter

Set From and To in Counter. Set Prefix, Suffix and Decimals in the format section. Choose count motion and Count f on the motion page. Enable Sparkline only if the composition needs that extra display.

Button

Add the Button item. MotionDeck creates a linked label Stack with the initial text “Get started”. Select that label Stack and edit its line, as in Text. Return to the Shape and choose the Button variant. Check the fit after changing the words.
